Who we are
MAZI in Sifnos, based in Agia Marina, Sifnos, is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us at contact@mazimotorental.com for anything related to your data.
What we collect
To complete a booking we ask for your name, email address, phone number, age and the country that issued your licence. Payment details are entered directly with our payment provider and never reach our servers.
We also keep the details of the rental itself: the scooter, the dates and times, the pick-up point and the amount paid.
Why we need it
To confirm and manage your booking, to meet you at the right place and time, to issue the receipt required by law, and to contact you if something changes on either side.
We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Who else sees it
Only the services we need to run the booking: our payment provider, the service that sends the confirmation emails, our hosting provider, and our accountant for the invoice. Each of them processes the data only for that purpose.
How long we keep it
Booking and invoice records are kept for as long as Greek tax law requires. Anything not needed for that is deleted once the rental is complete.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Write to contact@mazimotorental.com and we will respond within one month.
