Chrysopigi

The island's landmark monastery, on its own rocky islet. Swim at Apokofto right next to it.

The 17th-century monastery stands on a rock split off from the island, joined by a small stone bridge. It is the image on every Sifnos postcard and still an active place of worship. The whole island gathers here at Analipsi.
